It's just a short drive from us – yet it feels a little different. Winterberg is livelier, more diverse, and offers a wide range of activities for every season. Whether it's a stroll through town, a trip to Kahler Asten, or a visit to Erlebnisberg Kappe – there's plenty to discover here. I often recommend starting the day in a relaxed way: perhaps with a leisurely stroll, a coffee in one of the cafés, and then heading out into nature. Around Winterberg, you'll find beautiful trails, expansive views, and always spots where you'll love to linger. In summer, hiking trails, cycling routes, and attractions like the Panorama Adventure Bridge or the Bike Park invite you to active hours. In winter, the region transforms into one of Germany's most famous winter sports areas – with ski slopes, cross-country trails, and plenty of fresh-air activity. And at the end of the day, it's often especially nice to return to Westfeld – to the tranquility that defines our small village.
